Biography

• 1993 - Graduated with MBBCh from the University of the Witwatersrand (Johannesburg, South Africa)
• Trained as a Haematopathologist in the Department of Haematology and Molecular 
• Medicine (University of the Witwatersrand), working for the South African Institute for Medical Research (later the National Health Laboratory Service). Graduated with M.Med (Haematology) in 2003
• Worked on restructuring and implementing a new Haematology curriculum for medical students in the Graduate Entry Medical Program
• Immigrated to Australia in February 2004
• Joined QML Pathology in August 2004 in a training position and continues as a consultant Haematologist
• Obtained a fellowship of the Royal College of Australasia in December 2004
