Erin Simleit

Biography
Dr Simleit graduated with MBBCh from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa in 1993. She was trained as a Haematopathologist in the Department of Haematology and MolecularMedicine at University of the Witwatersrand and worked for the South African Institute for Medical Research (later named the National Health Laboratory Service).
After graduating with a M.Med (Haematology) in 2003, Dr Simleit worked on restructuring and implementing a new Haematology curriculum for medical students in the Graduate Entry Medical Program.In February of 2004 she immigrated to Australia where she joined QML Pathology in a training position. Dr Simleit obtained a fellowship of the Royal College of Australasia in December 2004 and continues as a consultant Haematologist with QML Pathology.
Her special interests include flow cytometry and haematological morphology
