Ian McPhan

Mr McPhan was appointed as Group Executive, Clinical Integration in June 2024.

Ian is an experienced leader in Australian pathology businesses. He joined Healius in 2015 as General Manager and COO of Western Diagnostic Pathology, WA and over the subsequent years has held a number of senior executive roles across Healius Pathology.

These include Chief Operating Officer of Healius Pathology and most recently, as General Manager of Dorevitch and Abbott Pathology in Victoria/South Australia.

Ian has unique depth and breadth of experience in the Australian health care sector.  He started his career as a laboratory scientist, trained in all laboratory disciplines, before moving into management roles in IT and operations across a number of Australian Pathology companies.

As Group Executive, Clinical Integration, Ian is responsible for ensuring our Pathologists and clinical expertise are at the centre of everything we do.
